Our garden is smothered in Peppers

The garden has green bell peppers, red bell peppers, yellow peppers, hot yellow peppers, hot red peppers, and jalepeno peppers. The garden still gives us basil, chocolate mint, and taragon.  The rosemary got squished by the hot yellow peppers.
We have mild winters, yet the nights do often bring frost. The planter boxes are great they were built and installed by my son-in-law, thank you Burnt Offerings, his garden is lovely and very productive.
I only wish I had more time to spend planting and nurturing my garden. I have so enjoyed going to the garden

We are just getting started.

I grew up in farm country in southern Illinois (see August 26 home page). My garden is about finished for the hot summer. I still have herbs and some bell peppers. I am going to plant new items this next week. I have not yet decided, perhaps lettuce and tomato.
Squash would be great too. Let me know if you have a garden and share your challenges and successes.
